The University of Freiburg cooperates with many institutions of higher education in Freiburg and is part of an international network. Register at the University Library and take advantage of additional services depending on your institution.

Opening hours Our doors are open to you. We look forward to welcoming you during our opening hours.n. Register and borrow We issue you a library card at the information desk. Depending on your university, you can also use your own university ID for borrowing. Students at EUCOR universities can receive a UniCard upon request. Databases, e-books, e-journals Find what you are looking for, either in the Katalog plus or in one of our licensed databases. Use our PCs for external users for this purpose. Campus libraries Literature and workstations are available in 59 specialist libraries on campus.

Day lockers You can use the day lockers in the foyer with your library card. Wi-Fi Many universities provide access to the eduroam network. You can use your home institution’s login here as well. Scanning, copying, printing Feel free to use our devices in the reading rooms.
