2024-11-13 Holdings in the low-lying stacks of the Freiburg University Library have been partially affected by mould The affected volumes are currently not available for loan. The mould infestation was discovered at a very early stage. Immediate measures for protection and cleaning are in progress. There is no health risk.

Borrowing & access User registration We are open to all. No matter whether you are an external user, student or staff at the Medical Center or at our University or another higher education institution in Freiburg, you will get the information you need here.

Research Books and more University Library Freiburg has around 3.5 million holdings at its disposal. You can search for specific items in Katalog plus. We also provide an extensive range of research tools. Study spaces Cloakroom lockers Please lock away your jackets, bags and food in the ground floor cloakroom lockers, which can be locked and unlocked with your library card.

Study spaces Wi-Fi on site Members of the University of Freiburg can connect to the Wi-Fi in the library. Members of other academic institutions can connect via eduroam. Study spaces Copying, scanning, printing You can use the machines in the reading rooms with your library card. You can top up your credit in Café Libresso or at the machines in the foyer.

Support Event recording You would like to record an event and then publish the video? We realise the technical implementation or simply use the automated recording technology. Support Courses, training and consulting We are media experts and we are here to show you what we know. Learn how to use equipment and programs or come to the uniCROSS editorial training with your questions and queries.

Support Let produce Image film, explanatory video, documentary. You can commission individual film projects and media productions from us. Support uniCROSS Students report cross-medially on their topics. In the process, they learn journalistic work and the multimedia presentation of academic topics.
