The University of Freiburg boasts the University Library as the central library establishment alongside the University Medical Center’s libraries as well as other institute, department, specialised and faculty libraries. Together, they make up Freiburg’s library system.

Standard identifiers for libraries are written in the format “25/...” and “Frei ...”, where “...” is to be replaced with the identifier for the respective library. Identifiers for libraries outside of the region of Freiburg use a different format. You can find these identifiers at the end of the list.
