Changes to copying and printing at the University of Freiburg from 22 April 2025

You will be able to copy and print on new machines from 22 April.
The changeover in the campus libraries will take place in the following days.
The replacement of the photocopiers by the university is also associated with a change in payment methods. The current option of paying for printouts and copies using the payment function of the UniCard or library card will no longer be available.
In order to be able to pay for prints and copies in future, university students will need the Kuario app, in which various payment options can be set up.

To be able to use the new devices after replacing the photocopiers, please download the version of the app that suits you and set it up.

As an additional payment option, the University of Freiburg will set up so-called payboxes at some photocopiers, where cashless payment will also be possible without the Kuario app.
