Expanded e-book offer through EBS model at Taylor & Francis

The University Library of Freiburg has concluded an EBS model (EBS = evidence-based selection) for the first time. This means that all Taylor & Francis titles from the copyright years 2022 to 2025 and all subject areas are accessible via the university network until 30/04/2026. The titles can be found and accessed via the Katalog Plus, including new publications, which are imported monthly.

With an EBS model, a publisher's entire portfolio or a package on specific subject areas is made available for a limited period of time. At the end of this period, a decision is made on the basis of usage data as to which e-books will be licensed permanently. The titles that are not permanently licensed are then removed from the Katalog Plus.
