400,000 € for the UB Freiburg

In accordance with the founder's intentions, the funding is to be used in its entirety to finance printed books. As in previous years, the acquisitions benefit members of the Faculties of Philosophy, Philology, Law and Theology. First and foremost, the students' literature needs are taken into account. In order to enable students in particular to have unhindered access to the literature purchased with Siemens funds, the books are made available in the university library as the central learning location of the University of Freiburg.
