400.000 € for the University Library Freiburg

Since 2019, the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Stiftung's library funding has thus totaled € 1.150,000.

In accordance with the founder's wishes, the funding is intended to be used in its entirety to finance printed books. As in 2020, the acquisitions will benefit members of the Faculties of Philosophy, Philology, Law and Theology. In the first instance, the students' literature needs are to be taken into account. In particular, in order to give students unimpeded access to the literature acquired with Siemens funds, the books will be available in the University Library, which is the central learning location of the University of Freiburg.
