If you are a corresponding author affiliated with the University of Freiburg and are responsible for the submission of an article to an open access journal and the funding of any APCs, please use the following workflow to check whether we can support you:
Use the list below to check whether the University of Freiburg has signed a framework agreement with the publisher of the journal you have selected for your article. If yes, go to step 2. If not, check the funding conditions to see whether your article can alternatively be funded by the university's publication fund and then, if applicable, continue with step 2.
Make sure that the criteria of the selected framework agreement or the funding conditions of the publication fund are met.
Submit a an application for funding. This step can be omitted for some framework agreements if this is explicitly noted in the description below.
When submitting your article, please consider the following points. Otherwise, your article may not be correctly allocated to the University of Freiburg and funding cannot be guaranteed.
