After a formal review of the application with regard to the funding criteria, we will send you an email to inform you whether or not your publication can receive funding. If all funding criteria have been fulfilled, you will receive provisional approval for funding via email. The corresponding amount will be earmarked for you in the fund. Once you have heard from the publisher, please email us and let us know whether or not your article has been accepted.
If the article has been accepted, we will send you binding approval for the funding. Please send the invoice via email or by post to Abt. Elektronisches Publizieren, UB Freiburg, Postfach 1629, 79016 Freiburg. Please make sure that the invoice is made out to your work address at the University of Freiburg. Ideally, the address should be in the following format:
"Street, building number/PO Box"
For invoices issued outside of Germany but within Europe, please state the university’s VAT ID: DE142116817.
If the publisher rejects your article, the earmarked amount will be released back into the fund.
